FROM GUILDWIKI, CHECK HERE SO WE DONT HAVE TO LISTEN TO YOU CRY ANYMORE http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Main_Page
Update - Tuesday July 17, 2007 Party Search * Whenever a party enters Party Search, an automatic message will now broadcast to players in that party???s current district. For example, if Ancient Shahmat sets ???glf monk??? as the party???s description in the Party Search panel, ???Ancient Shahmat: Party Search ??? glf monk??? will appear in the Chat panel of players in the same district as Ancient Shahmat. * Whenever a party leader broadcasts ???glf,??? ???lfg,??? lfp,??? ???wtb,??? ???wts,??? or ???wtt??? in All chat, that party will now be entered into Party Search automatically with that chat message used as the party's description. Note however that messages that contain spaces in-between these acronyms will not automatically be entered in the party search window. However, an advantage of this is you will be able to broadcast your message for more than one line in length per entry. This is what was on your LOG IN SCREEN for at least a week maybe two. Chat Channel Changes Players are reminded that the All (Local) Chat Channel is intended for social activities, and the Trade Channel is provided for all trade activities. Players using the All Chat Channel for trade spam are subject to an account mark. Last edited by rancidgoat; Aug 03, 2007 at 08:21 PM // 20:21.. |

A little history:
1. about 2-1/2 months ago, A-net started giving out temp. bans for people using local chat to spam trade messages. 2. Many, many people cried "foul" because there was absolutely no warning given(at the time), especially since spamming in local has been done since the beginning of GW. 3. Within a week,A-net listened to the complaints and put up a warning on the LOG-IN screen (right above the "Players protect your account" and below "This weekend's event" tabs) that said action would be taken against people who abuse the trade chat to spam trade messages. (Sorry, the latest update removed that warning, so I can't quote it) 4. A-net later came up with the redirect of WTS / WTB messages to go into the Party Search, resulting in peoples' messages getting cut off in there and in Trade chat. 5. Within 5 minutes, many people figured out that you could bypass this filter by inserting spaces (W T S) , periods (W.T.B.) and other little devices. 6. A month later, there are still people who aren't aware of the policy changes, even though it was the talk of GW for the first couple of weeks and the warning has been on the log-in screen for over a month. |

Ok so you said there was....
That means not anymore and since when? I returned a week ago after a break from several months...... So is'nt there a chance a misted that warning? I don't want to cry like someone said im doin but i believe getting banned is a bit harch for somthing i did'nt know..... Is'nt it much less work to send me a whisper telling me im doin somthing against the rules then just report me and ban my account? I think its very lame that person did'nt whisper me who ever someone from a-net or someone that reported me.... |

If a-net just looked a little more and noticed that i did'nt saw that warning then maybe i would'nt have a ban and i would'nt complain here and then i was playing gw and not here CRYING!!!!!!!!!
A little whisper and then i would realise it to. Sure i would like to see what you do if you get a ban for somthing you did'nt know..... Mister Xenex was sure i had that warning say to him think before....... |
